Most teams have a "tracking debt" problem, even if they don't call it that.

It works like technical debt: every refactor, every feature, every shortcut leaves the analytics layer slightly worse than before. Each individual instance is fine. The accumulated drift is what kills you.

Six months later: events fire from places they shouldn't, properties have inconsistent naming across platforms, the documentation is wildly out of sync with the actual implementation.

Nobody planned for this. Nobody noticed it happening. But everyone is now spending hours debugging "is this number right?" instead of using the data to make decisions.

Tracking debt compounds quietly. The cost shows up in the form of uncertainty - business decisions made on data nobody fully trusts, or worse, decisions delayed because the data isn't trustworthy.
